This is a Paddington Bear made by R. John Wright.
I've had him for quite a while and have cherished him.
There are small signs of wear and tear from age, but as expected, he's a very cute Paddington with excellent craftsmanship.
There are repairs on the paw of his right foot and on the black buttons of his duffle coat.
There's also a tear on the back of the coat, though it's not very noticeable.
The leather part of the suitcase has slight stains, and although it used to open with a key, it doesn't seem to work now. An unopened small jar of jam is still inside.
His arms and legs are movable, and his right hand is slightly bent in a beckoning gesture, perhaps due to a wire inside.
Despite the above, he has a lot of character and presence.
